A French pedophile could be facing death by a firing squad in Indonesia after he was accused of molesting more than 300 kids and also beating those who refused to have sex with him. The authorities revealed that they had arrested Francois Abello Camille from a hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia where they found two minor girls in his room. Camille is facing death by firing squad or life in prison as per Indonesia's child protection laws.

The investigators say that they discovered videos of child sex abuse on Camille's laptop which featured him sexually abusing hundreds of children aged between 10 and 17. The police revealed that the man had entered the country on a tourist visa many times over the past five years. The Jakarta Police Chief Nana Sudjana shared with reporters, "He would approach children and lure them by offering them work as models."

"The ones who agreed to have sex with him would get paid between 250,000 and one million rupiah ($17-70). Those who didn't want to have sex would be beaten, slapped, and kicked by the suspect." Authorities believe that the man had been molesting and sexually exploiting Indonesian children for many years and there could be many more victims than what is known currently.

A global anti-trafficking network ECPAT International revealed that as many as 70,000 children become victims of sexual exploitation annually across the country. Social media users were very much in support of the consequences that Camille is likely to face. One user shared, "Good. This is how we should be dealing with those kinds of people...why is America/Europe so lenient about it? Probably because many leaders are either involved or don’t think it’s ‘so bad’. Grr..."

Another added, "YESS, while I wasn't for the death penalty before, I'm now very much for it, in these kinds of circumstances. No doubt whatsoever that this is the holy and moral path that we must take." "I could be on board for this. Can we make the other pedos watch? #KidsAreOurFuture #StopHurtingThem," shared yet another.

It was just last month when the Jakarta Police managed to arrest an American fugitive Russ Medlin for his alleged actions against minors. Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Yusri Yunus said that he had been charged in connection to a sexual abuse case against a teenager, 14 in the US.

Yunus said, "[He] was charged with sexual violence against a minor twice by a district court in Nevada between 2006 and 2008, and had served two years in prison," the Jakarta Post reveals. He had met with a 20-year-old woman while in Indonesia who is known to have links to child trafficking. "[Medlin] asked A via WhatsApp to introduce him to a minor. A then introduced him to the victim, SS, who is still 15 years of age," Yunus said.

Medlin had also entered Indonesia via a tourist visa last year. He is also wanted back home in connection to a $700 million cryptocurrency scam. He was arrested last month in Jakarta.
