Renowned actor and comedian Patton Oswalt launched a no-holds-barred verbal volley of expletives as he lashed out at President Donald Trump and his supporters after they mocked climate activist, Greta Thunberg on Twitter. 'The King of Queens' star responded to the tweet by calling Trump and his loyalists "a**holes"

"The President is a stupid a**hole and if you voted for him you’re a stupid a**hole and if you still support him you’re a stupid a**hole,” Oswalt wrote. "Oh no, this Tweet is going to make all the stupid a**holes not like me waaaaah."

This tweet came in response to Trump's mocking of Thunberg after she was named 'Time's Person of the Year for 2019'.  Trump's tweet read:  "So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!" The president wrote in response to the news, prompting a severe backlash from his critics and Thunberg herself, who updated her Twitter bio to reflect the president's jabs. The site also reported that a fan had pointed out to Oswalt that his broad characterization of Trump's supporters might be “presumptuous," the comedian didn't falter. "Oh no my career what have I done," he mocked instead.

This hasn't been the first time the comedian blasted Trump on social media. He had previously taken to Twitter to voice out Trump's psychology in an interview with Playboy where he believed childhood harm might have to be blamed for president's tendency to lash out. "If you look at how Trump and his siblings were raised, what we’re seeing is the tail end of his having been hurt his whole life. His whole life since his childhood has been about vengeance and lashing out,” he said. "He also came along during a time when a lot of the neoliberal experiment had kind of turned on the people it pretended to be helping."

According to the Washington Times, Oswalt has been outspoken in his hate for Republicans and Trump. In March, he lamented that the U.S. had elected “an openly racist, failed grifter, sexual predator to the highest office in the land.”
