Who is Pastor Dwight Buckner Jr? Here’s why 'MAFS' star Chris Williams is calling out ‘his brother’ online
Season 12 of 'Married at First Sight' has not been easy to watch — especially as the Paige Banks and Chris Williams drama continued to unfold, there was no telling what would happen next between the couple.
After the meeting between Chris Williams, Mercedes Myrick and Paige Banks, it seemed like Banks was done with their relationship. Turns out, Williams hasn't given up trying, seeing that his friend, Pastor Dwight Buckner Jr is here to intertwine and fix the issue, suggesting Williams might have made a wrong choice.

However, it turns out, Williams and Pastor Dwight aren't as close as they seem. Williams took to social media to call out Pastor Dwight and the way he portrayed himself and the show. According to Williams, Pastor Dwight was a completely different person through the process.

Pastor Dwight was even a part of the friend meetup — when fans noted that Williams seemed distracted and he was being spoken to — according to Williams, it was his way to avoid being disrespectful on TV.
Turns out, the pastor and his wife knew the situation regarding Myrick's pregnancy too but suggested that she wasn't pregnant. Williams claimed that he kept changing his tune all throughout the situation. Pastor Dwight compared Banks to a rare diamond and that conversation, in particular, seems to have caused a rift between the two men's relationship.

So, who is Pastor Dwight Buckner Jr?
Born into a family of preachers, Pastor Buckner realized that the church was his calling at the age of 16. He has a BA in Leadership Administration and a Master of Divinity Degree. He is also ordained and licensed as a Minister of the Gospel. He's authored a book — 'Breaking The Cycle of Lust and Pastor Buckner'. His second book, '5 Things Every Man Needs' is scheduled to release in April 2021.
Is Pastor Dwight married?
Pastor Dwight is married to Elisa Bennett Buckner. The pair have two children together — Elias Dwight Buckner and Malachi Caleb Buckner. He's the senior pastor and founder of the Generation of Hope Church in Decatur, Georgia.
