Gray Parish finally locates his son's killer in 'Parish' Finale Episode
In 'Parish' Episode 5, Gray opened the envelope sent by The Horse (Zackary Momoh), the leader of a criminal gang. Inside, he found a tape recorder containing a chilling confession - a man confessed to the heinous crime of killing a young boy.
Gray thought that the man could be the one responsible for his son Maddox's (Caleb Baumann) death.
In 'Parish' Episode 6, Gray confronts The Horse and demands answers about his son's killer. With emotions running high, Gray implores The Horse to reveal everything he knows about the tragic events that led to Maddox's death.
The Horse tells Gray that he needs to do something for him before he will share any information regarding Maddox's murder.
Later on, Gray goes to meet Colin Broussard (Skeet Ulrich) to seek his help. As Colin plays the recording, he is stunned by the chilling confession from a man admitting to the murder of a young boy.
Colin advises Gray to talk to the police, but Gray has a different plan in mind. He asks Colin to call a man, someone who might be able to locate his son's killer. Despite Colin's reservations, Gray is determined to take matters into his own hands and seek justice for Maddox.
Colin finally makes the call, and Gray is next seen in an antique shop, deep in conversation with a man. He is seen asking him to locate someone, presumably the person responsible for his son's death.
In the following scene, viewers witness Gray discreetly following a man named Travis. Gray, carrying a gun, stealthily enters Travis's place and sits down for their meeting. Gray recounts his story, detailing the pain and loss he has endured since his son's death.
Later on, Gray points the gun at his waist and takes Travis to a secluded location. In a shocking turn of events, Travis confesses to the murder, revealing himself as the killer Gray has been searching for.
He also reveals that Anton Valmont (Bradley Whitford) helped him cover up the crime.
Travis pleads with Gray, saying that he is willing to go to the police and confess his crime, but he begs Gray not to kill him.
Later on, viewers witness Gray exacting his own form of justice by killing Anton, whom he blames for helping to cover up his son's murder.
Gray Parish confronts The Horse in intense showdown in Finale Episode
After killing Anton, Gray goes to Zenzo Tongai (Ivan Mbakop), The Horse's brother, with a gun. Apparently, The Horse asks Gray to kill Zenzo, but Gray does not comply with his orders. Instead, he goes to The Horse with Zenzo and says that he does not own him.
He tells them that if they want to kill each other, they should do it and then leave the place.
In the final scene, viewers witness Gray spending quiet moments in his son's room, surrounded by memories of the boy he lost.
Subsequently, he receives a call from the man in the antique shop, who informs him that someone came into his shop. The man suggests they may hear from this person again.
