What happened in 'Parish' Episode 5?
'Parish' Episode 5 opens with Gray, Rose (Paula Malcomson), and Makayla (Arica Himmel) sitting together after Rose killed Anton's (Bradley Whitford) men in self-defence.

Gray eventually opens the envelope sent by The Horse (Zackary Momoh). Inside, he discovers a tape recorder with a disturbing confession. A man on the recording admits to the horrific act of murdering a young boy.
Gray realizes that he needs to return to The Horse to seek clarification and further information about the chilling confession.
Gray suspects that the man confessing on the tape could be the person responsible for his son Maddox's (Caleb Baumann) death.
In the last scene, Gray insists on learning the identity of the man on the tape recorder from The Horse. However, The Horse responds that Gray must first complete a task before he will divulge any information regarding Maddox's murder.
