Parish's wife, Ros (Paula Malcomson), suggests that they should change houses and start living in a less expensive neighborhood to reduce their living expenses. However, he wants to stay in the same house because it holds memories of their children.

As the episode progresses, viewers learn that the relationship between Gray Parish and his daughter is strained.

Makayla (Arica Himmel), Parish's daughter, feels neglected and frustrated by her father's preoccupation with their financial troubles. She feels that her father has always prioritized his son over her.

On the dining table, Makayla expresses her desire to learn to drive, pointing out that her father hasn't made an effort to help her.

She feels that Parish would teach her brother if he wanted to learn. Subsequently, Parish goes to Colin (Skeet Ulrich) and accepts his offer to work with The Horse (Zackary Momoh), a criminal, for money, recognizing the opportunity to improve his financial situation.

Parish used to work with criminals back in the day but had taken retirement and decided to start a legitimate business. However, as he accepts the offer to work with The Horse he may face several challenges and risks.

What will happen to Parish as he gets involved with The Horse? Only time will tell.
