Pamela Anderson marries 'A Star is Born' producer Jon Peters in surprise 5th wedding: 'I’m a lucky woman'
Actor Pamela Anderson is married to 'A Star is Born' producer Jon Peters. The actor's publicist Matthew Berritt confirmed that the couple got married on Monday saying, "They are very much in love and were married yesterday."
According to a report in People, Peters said at the wedding, "Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much."
He also added, "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
Anderson and Peters met three decades ago and recently rekindled their relationship. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news and Anderson shared a poem with them in which she confesses her love for Peters.
It read as follows: "Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood – no one compares / I love him deeply like family. / His life used to scare me. / So much for a girl like me. / Now I’ve seen more of life and realize. / He’s been there all along. / Never failed me / I’m ready now / and he’s ready too / We understand and respect each other / We love each other without conditions. / I’m a lucky woman. – Proof / God has a plan."
This is Anderson's fifth marriage. She was previously married to Tommy Lee and the couple share two children, 23-year-old Brandon and 22-year-old Dylan. They were married for three years between 1995 and 1998, however, it ended with Lee in prison for six months doing time for spousal abuse. She then married Kid Rock in 2006, however, it did not last long.
This was followed by her marriage to Rick Solomon, once in 2007 and once in 2013 and both the times the marriages lasted less than a year. Peters was previously married to actor Lesley Ann Warren and producer Christine Forsyth-Peters. He was also reportedly involved with Barbra Streisand, whose film 'A Star is Born' was produced by him in 1976. The producer had met her when she was a hairdresser. Peters also produced the Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga starrer 'A Star is Born'.
