Just hours after Alice Marie Johnson's release thanks to Kim Kardashian, the paparazzi caught up with Pamela Anderson who was asked whether she would be asking the POTUS Donald Trump to pardon her pal, WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange.

As reported by Hollywoodlife, she said, "I think that would be the smartest move." Julian Assange is yet to be charged and with Trump's recent pardoning of Marie Johnson, Anderson believes that this will make it easier to get Julian's name cleared of all charges.

The United States had opened up a criminal investigation against Assange in the year 2010 after his site, WikiLeaks, published a series of leaks and classified documents including the Collateral Murder video, the Afghanistan war logs, the Iraq war logs, and Cable gate that was provided by Chelsea Manning.

Julian later turned himself into the London authorities but was released on bail and put under house arrest. He was then extradited to Sweden. He became a naturalized citizen of Ecuador in 2017. Julian and Wikileaks are also believed to be responsible for the release of more than 1,200 emails from Hilary Clinton’s private server, which was the primal focus of the 2016 presidential election.

Throughout all the controversy and chaos, Pamela has remained a supporter of Julian and the two were also romantically linked when Pamela was spotted visiting the Ecuadorian embassy in the year 2016. As reported by People, "Julian is trying to free the world by educating it. It is a romantic struggle– I love him for this," Pamela said.

She has slowly started opening up about her relationship with Assange and has also revealed why she is worried for his safety. Assange has been hiding out at the Ecuadorian embassy for the past six years.

Recently, Anderson also wrote a letter to Kanye West asking him to help her set Julian free according to TMZ. "Hi, Kanye Hope you are well I was wondering about your thoughts on Julian Assange. I support him and I know you value Free Speech – Visibility is good for him especially in America. Where they are trying to put him away for life or worse for exposing corruption in governments," she wrote.

"They are trying to kill [Assange]. It is Torture." She also added that he has "been locked in a small room for almost 6 years in London at the Ecuadorian Embassy. And he now can have no visitors. No Phone calls or internet. They are squeezing him," she said.

"Public support could set him free. Media is monopolized So some brave voices are the only Hope to break through," she concluded. Looks like Pamela has found the answer to her prayers and you can thank Kim for showing her the way.
