Pablo Escobar's brother claims he raised over $10 million in just 10 hours to impeach Trump before GoFundMe took it down
The late drug lord Pablo Escobar's older brother, Roberto Escobar, has alleged that he raised millions of dollars within hours for a campaign to impeach US President Donald Trump before GoFundMe took it down.
Reports state that the older Escobar, nicknamed El Osito, launched the campaign called 'ByeByeTrump' on the fundraiser website and which claimed to have dirt on the president, had raised over $10 million in just 10 hours before the crowdfunding service took down the page, according to TMZ.
Reports state that GoFundMe halted the campaign to investigate into Escobar's claims.
Report state that the page was suspended on Tuesday after GoFundMe asked for more information about the campaign; Escobar meanwhile said that he had responded to the company's queries.
The campaign, however, is not currently active. A promotional image for the campaign had claimed that the Escobar family holds "dirty secrets of President Trump, his family, and associates."
