'Ozark' Season 3: Fans wish baby Zeke is taken away from 'twisted' Darlene and fostered in a loving home

Darlene Snell seized the golden opportunity to kill Mason's wife and stole his baby boy Zeke on 'Ozark'

Things took a shocking turn as 'Ozark' entered into a dark phase with Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) murdering the pastor, Mason Young (Michael Mosley), to protect his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) during a brutal kidnapping showdown.

Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) then seized the chance as she killed Mason's wife and stole his baby boy Zeke. Fans are not happy with the development and wish for the young one to be taken away from the 'twisted' woman. In a Reddit thread, one viewer wrote: "This is more a wish than a prediction: Get that baby away from Darlene!" She murdered her husband Jacob (Peter Mullan) and the baby won't be safe living with her.

Her motive behind taking the baby away might have been to heal her emotional wounds and to find a male heir for the Snells but Wendy (Laura Linney) already has her eyes on the child. One viewer wrote on Twitter, "Darlene getting baby Zeke on #Ozark is legit the worst possible outcome in an already terrible situation."

Another one posted, "Is it normal to be rooting for the downfall of all the main characters on a show? lol except Ruth and baby Zeke, who deserve better #Ozark."

One tweet read: "Can someone in Ozark just take baby Zeke away from all the horrible people and to a lovely caring family, I’m getting slightly worried. #Ozark," and another one posted, "The fact that they gave Zeke away made me so sad! I hate Darlene #Ozark."

"#Ozark just took the nastiest turn I could have imagined... Zeke Snell? Gross. #stillhooked," one tweet read.

Will Darlene manage to protect the baby and wander off into the forests? Perhaps, Wendy might be able to follow her into the woods and get the baby back. Only time will tell whether the baby has a future or not. The new season of 'Ozark' is expected to premiere on Netflix in early 2020.
