Spoilers for 'Ozark' Season 3 Episode 1-10

In the dark world of 'Ozark', it is impossible to predict what's hidden behind each face. The biggest power battle in Season 3 was between Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) and Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer).

In the beginning, the two began as a team but it was clear that a rivalry was in the offing. Towards the end, Wendy's brother Ben Davis (Tom Pelphrey) turned out to be the game-changer and it was his death that sparked the fire. Fans are shocked by the character development of Helen over the 10 episodes and can't stop dishing out their thoughts on it.

"For those of us obsessed with #Ozark, who is your favourite character? I'll go first — Helen Pierce (total bad***) portrayed by the illustrious @JanetMcTeer," one posted and another wrote, "There is no fictional character in the history of fictional characters that terrifies me more than Helen Pierce #Ozark."

In the end, there is a major twist as drug kingpin Omar Navarro (Felix Solis), who deals with all his businesses in his "own ways" gets Helen shot in the head and seals a deal with the Byrdes. Most viewers were taken aback by the scene. One wrote, "Never overplay your position or your value to the corporation, Helen found that out the hard way. #Ozark. @ozark #season4 is gonna be wayyyy #LIT," and another said, "Helen, you got what you deserved."

The character may have met a disastrous end but it was commendable how she manipulated everyone around her and showed a glimpse of her protective motherly side.

One posted, "The ending of #Ozark season 3 was shocking. I never did like that Helen b***h," and another one said, "Is anyone else’s mind f**king blown at the end of #OzarkS3? Helen was always a b***h but an unreal character. Mind is still blown. #Netflix."

Some fans, however, loved to see Helen's mind games on the screen. "I love Helen on #Ozark. She is bad (and she knows it), she's smart, poised and extremely calculating. She is the most stable character this season," one said and another posted, "I am, in fact, in love with all things Janet McTeer thanks to #Ozark now. Helen’s character is indescribable. She better swoop up some Emmys."

Another one posted, "Starting to enjoy Helen’s character now that the other sides to her character’s spectrum is being shown. #Ozark."

All 10 episodes of 'Ozark' are available for streaming on Netflix and while there is no official confirmation yet, the fourth season of 'Ozark' could roll out sometime in 2021.
