Spoilers for 'Ozark' Season 3 Episode 6 'Su Casa Es Mi Casa'

A relationship needs trust and commitment. But in 'Ozark', there is only one thing a relationship needs — the will to be with each other until your desires are met. Between Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney), the battle for power is growing stronger. The game is getting dangerous by the day.

It is ironic that the episode is titled after a common Spanish expression, 'Su Casa Es Mi Casa' meaning 'make yourself at home'. What transpires in the show is exactly opposite to the phrase. Terrific performances take the show forward with more dramatic twists and turns. It is difficult to predict the intentions of the characters at this stage and that's what keeps the season interesting, despite its sluggish plot.

Marty and Wendy: The big confession

The therapy continues and so do the disagreements. Sue Shelby (Marylouise Burke), the therapist, finally brings the cat out of the bag: "What does it say about a marriage when a husband and wife both try to bribe the therapist?" When the couple finds out they are both doing the same thing to keep arguments at bay, more arguments begin and soon turn into a big fight. The two finally let out their feelings and Wendy walks out when Marty calls her a b***h.

Later, Wendy tells Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer), "Marty and I are taking a break. He was being a d**k so I tossed him out." The way the show portrays their marital woes paints a picture of every couple, the only difference being they aren't dealing with each other's crimes and murderous instincts. Wendy knows Marty spied on her call with Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) and Marty knows she got Cade Langmore (Trevor Long) killed!

Charlotte and Erin: A gun war

Ousted of his house, Marty goes to meet Special Agent Maya Miller (Jessica Frances Dukes) but confesses that he cannot trust her. Of course, it takes a toll on his well-being. Is Marty going crazy? He talks to himself while driving like he is having a conversation with Wendy beside her.

The scene is simply astounding and sheds light on their mighty mess.

Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde (Netflix)

It's not just the adults, the kids are also embroiled in their own chaos. Charlotte Byrde (Sofia Hublitz) tries to stop Erin Pierce (Madison Thompson) from going out with the bunch of boys. She doesn't listen and soon a drinking game turns into a gun war. In no time, the gun is pulled at Jonah's (Skylar Gaertner) head. Thankfully, it stops right there, but the trouble among the kids stirs a brawl between Wendy and Helen.

Later, Helen tries to talk to Erin but she doesn't budge. You know there's something is really botched up about the show when a kid can call her mom a "f**king bitch".

Wyatt and Darlene: Ruth knows

Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner) lives up to her swagger in this episode. However, it is quite strange to see her get into an affair with Wendy's mysterious brother Ben Davis (Tom Pelphrey). They start making out but realize they are incapable of sex.

Later, Ruth finds out Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan) and Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) are f**king each other. That very night, Ruth goes to Darlene's house to confront Wyatt. An emotional outburst follows and even as she says, "I love you, don't you understand that?" Wyatt shuts the door on her face. Next, Ruth goes to see Ben. She tells him she doesn't care if they cannot have sex, because she just wants to talk.

He consoles her and they finally f**k each other.

A bipolar story: What's going on with Ben?

However, not all seems to be hunky-dory about Ben. In a scene, Wendy is furious when she finds out Ben stopped his medication. At the casino, Wendy confronts Ruth and straightaway tells her that he's bipolar. In clear words, she tells her that he needs medication to "function" and asks her as a friend to get him back on them.

Directed by Ben Semanoff and written by Paul Kolsby, the episode ends on a major cliffhanger. Ben takes Jonah on a drive and they decide to monitor the area with a drone. In the footage, they notice something wrong and alert Ruth. But, it's too late... A group of men has already set the cash on fire. What started well seems to be going haywire and the Byrde family need to get their s**t together and put a full stop to their internal conflicts. If they don't, their doomsday won't be far!
