'OutDaughtered': Fire drill to the father-daughter dance, the Busby family gets busy in the season premiere
The Busby family is back and they have a lot on their plate! With the quints heading back to school, Adam and Danielle Busby thought there are some things that the Busby children should learn outside school. One thing that Adam wanted to teach all his children was how to respond in case of a fire drill. The pair did not want their children to depend on them in case of an emergency and wanted to make sure they were aware of how to go about things.
Adam and Danielle tried to ask some questions about what would the quints do in case of a fire and it seemed like their answers had left them disappointed and aware of the necessity to teach them a fire drill. Adam and Danielle sat down with the girls and taught them what to do in case of an emergency. Adam tried to explain that in case of an emergency, everyone should head to the main door and get out of the house. He further explained that during a fire, one should check if the doorknob is hot and be careful while going out.
Adam also pointed out that if there was smoke in the house, everyone should lay close to the ground because the smoke goes up and it is easier to find the way while lying on the ground. The Busby family then decided to implement all the learning into action as Adam conducted a mock fire drill.
Adam and Danielle were quick to ask everyone to crawl on the floor to find their way out. Adam even organized a surprise fire drill later just to find out how the family did. Luckily for him, everyone remembered what they had to do.
While the fire drill was a success, there was another thing that Adam had to take care of. Adam had to break the bad news to the quints about not being able to take them to the father-daughter dance. Adam thought he won't be able to take care of all the children together. Luckily for him, the quints understood and agreed to not go.
However, Danielle had some surprises up her sleeve. She decided to set up a dance area in the backyard for everyone to enjoy. Undoubtedly, Adam was surprised but happy that he got to share a nice moment with all of his daughters while also enjoying a nice dance with his wife.
