'Our Cartoon President' Season 3 Episode 12 Review: Can Trump act like human before great presidential debate?

The elections are around the corner and things are getting intense. The fire has been lit, and the smokes are blowing across the US. Politicians and people are praying that hate speech and negativity doesn't win again, just as it did in 2016. As President Donald Trump conducts his rallies and takes jibes at his Democratic rivals as much as he can, political satire 'Our Cartoon President' decides to kick things up a notch which could serve as a solid anti-Trump campaign in the coming weeks.
In the latest episode of the show, all subtleties were so ruthlessly abandoned that the deep American frustrations were practically bursting at the seams. The premise was that the character of Trump had to learn how to act more like a human being, in order not to mess up the great presidential debate that is just around the corner. He is put in a cage, and is "trained" to let go of his Trump-ish behaviour such as making "criminally offensive and insensitive statements".
At first, there doesn't seem to be much hope, because he continues to be himself. Nevertheless, Kellyanne Conway and Mitch Connell work hard at their tedious job, and even put him in chains at one point, hoping that he will become more sensible. Trump thinks that he is the best and almost grows bestial in nature. The sharp jabs at the real Trump's speeches as well as his inane arguments are difficult to mess, and in this episode, they were right on the nose. References were made to Trump's understanding of immigrants and borders, as well as his lack of interest in the affairs of the people.
Meanwhile, the character of Trump's real-life rival Joe Biden has problems of his own, and wants to talk like former president Barack Obama. Jill Biden decides to help him out in this area. Of course, potshots are made here as well (when are they not). At the end of the episode, Joe Biden has perfect pauses, just like Obama, much to Jill's joy. There's the welcome return of Mitt Romney here too, if anyone remembers him well...from the 2012 elections. 'Our Cartoon President' continues to deliver the right jabs at Trump. It's a Showtime show and airs on Sundays at 8pm.
