1. Meryl Streep
Three-time Academy Award winner, Meryl Streep, made a special cameo in Season 3 of 'Only Murders in the Building'. She plays Loretta Durkin, a struggling Hollywood actress, and Oliver Putnam's love interest.
Her fans can rejoice as she returns for Season 4, where we anticipate significant developments in Oliver and Loretta's love story.
2. Jane Lynch
Jane Lynch as Sazz Pataki had recurring appearances in three seasons of 'Only Murders in the Building'. [Major spoiler from Season 3] In the Season 3 finale, Sazz was shot and killed by an unknown assassin.
Although this character has been killed off, Jane Lynch will return in Season 4.
Confirming her comeback, she said, "Well, I'm the murder victim, which is not a tease. And so I have some really great flashbacks... I don't want to give it away though, but I'm in it a lot. I'm in five out of 10 episodes, so I'm excited," in an interview with People.
3. Molly Shannon
Actress and comedian Molly Shannon is known for her work on 'Saturday Night Live' from 1995 to 2001. The 59-year-old actress will make a special cameo in Season 4 of 'Only Murders in the Building'.
Her filmography includes ' Never Been Kissed' (1999), ‘Wet Hot American Summer' (2001), ‘Osmosis Jones' (2001) and 'Evan Almighty' (2007).
4. Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria is popular for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the ABC TV series 'Desperate Housewives'. She has joined the guest star list for the fourth season of the Hulu show.
She will be playing herself, portraying Selena Gomez's Mabel Mora in the film adaptation of the podcast, as confirmed by TVLine.
5. Eugene Levy
With Mabel having her movie doppelgänger, Charles and Oliver will have theirs as well. Canadian actor and comedian Eugene Levy will appear as himself, taking on the role of Charles's character in the film adaptation.
Throughout his remarkable career, Levy has won several accolades including four Primetime Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
He is popularly known for playing Johnny Rose in the sitcom 'Schitt's Creek'. He has also been a part of the 'American Pie' film series.
6. Zach Galifianakis
Zach Galifianakis will also star as himself and will be portraying Oliver in the film adaptation of the trio's podcast.
The 54-year-old actor is best known for playing Alan in 'The Hangover' trilogy. He is also popular among fans for starring in the FX series 'Baskets' (2016–2019).
7. Richard Kind
Richard Kind, 67, hails from New Jersey and is known for his extensive filmography, which includes ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind' (2002), 'Big Stan' (2007), and 'The Out-Laws' (2023).
He will be joining the cast of 'Only Murders in the Building' Season 4 for a cameo.
8. Kumail Nanjiani
Kumail Nanjiani is a Pakistani-American stand-up comedian and actor, best known for his role as Dinesh in the HBO comedy series 'Silicon Valley' (2014–2019). He also had a notable appearance in 'The Twilight Zone' (2019).
He is among the confirmed celebrity guests for Season 4 of Selena Gomez's 'Only Murders in the Building'.
9. Melissa McCarthy
Melissa McCarthy, who previously served as a host on 'Saturday Night Live' from 2011 to 2017, will also be joining the cameo list of the Hulu show.
