For all those who love the Hulu comedy series 'Dollface', there's good news in store as the hilarious and quirky show is all set to return with a second season! The show is making an exciting comeback two years after premiering owing to the pandemic, making it all the more joyous.

The Hulu show revolves around a young woman Jules, who after suffering a heartbreak enters a 'world of women' created by her own imagination where she has to work to rekindle friendships and relations she didn't pay heed to while she was dating. The feelgood, feminist series is a definite win for those whole love women-centric content, and the creative world, the friend group, and more meshed with comedy make it a must-watch! When does 'Dollface' Season 2 premiere and where to watch it?

'Dollface' Season 2 is set to release on Friday, February 11, 2022. You can watch it on Hulu.

What is 'Dollface' Season 2 about?

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer opens with Jules’ best friend Madison asking her, “Do you know how we’re nowhere near the places where we thought we’d be in our lives?” This cues in the existence of the COVID-19 pandemic in the fictional world as well with Madison saying, “We spent the last part of our official youth stuck inside, just here, watering houseplants.” The trailer also sees the return of love interest Wes along with The Cat Lady. Jules and her friends will continue to struggle with figuring out what they all really want from their lives and will most likely be set in a post-pandemic world.

Who stars in the Hulu comedy series?

Kat Dennings as Jules Wiley

Katherine Victoria Litwack who is known professionally as Kat Dennings is a popular American actress. She began her acting career in the year 2000 and an appearance on HBO's 'Sex and the City' marked her professional debut. She went to do guest star and bag recurring roles in shows like 'ER', ' Without a Trace', 'CSI: NY', and more. Her movies include roles in  'The 40-Year-Old Virgin', 'The House Bunny', 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist', and more. Dennings gained mass popularity when she played the lead role of Max Black in '2 Broke Girls' as well as bagging the role of Darcy Lewis in MCUs's 'Thor'. She reprised her role in 'Thor: The Dark World' as well as Disney's 'WandaVision'. She plays the main character, Jules Wiley, in the comedy 'Dollface' and will be returning in the second installment as well.



 

The rest of the returning cast consists of Brenda Song as Madison Maxwell, Shay Mitchell as Stella Cole, Esther Povitsky as Izzy Levine, Malin Akerman as Celeste, Beth Grant as The Cat Lady, Matthew Gray Gubler as Wes. Jayson Blair joins the cast as a love interest for Izzy, while Lilly Singh will have a recurring role as a queer bar owner.
