The virtual musical event ‘One World: Together At Home’ organized by WHO and Global Citizen in association with Lady Gaga ran high on emotions as some of the most prominent names from the music world came together to thank healthcare across the globe for being in the frontline of the coronavirus outbreak and their service, which has been saving millions of lives.

The two-hour-long concert co-hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert began with a performance by none other than Lady Gaga, who presented a beautiful rendition of the song, 'Smile'. The star-studded had a series of emotional songs lined up for the evening, of which Taylor Swift’s performance on  ‘Soon You’ll Get Better’ has left fans extremely emotional.

Playing the acoustic version of the song with only keyboards, Taylor went on to deliver a tear-jerking performance and the viewers from across the globe are showering her with hugs on social media, thanking her for giving them some hope to hold on to during the tough time.

“We love her so much. I am so proud of Taylor for performing this song. Even though is hurts her so much to play it, she did it anyway, because she knows how much the world needs this song. I love our selfless Queen,” wrote one fan.

“I'M SO PROUD, IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL, HUGE THANKS TO TAYLOR FOR THAT AND OF COURSE TO PEOPLE WHO ORGANISED IT,” shared another emotional fan.

The majority of the fans are seen asking how did she manage to put up an exceptional show despite the uncertainty surrounding her performance in the concert.

One Twitter user wrote, “How??? I mean how?? She sang Soon You'll Get Better without breaking. I started crying the second she started playing the piano. I need to go to bed now so I can get up for work at 4 am.....I'm a mess”

“Taylor, you are one of the strongest women I know. You said you wouldn’t perform it, but you performed it FOR US anyways, made it through without breaking down, and ripped out our hearts in the process. We love you,” added another to the previous tweet.
