'One World: Together At Home', a virtual music concert featuring several A-list musicians is all social media is abuzz with. Brought to us by WHO And Global Citizen in association with Lady Gaga, the event has already presented several mind-blowing performances by top musicians.

While the majority of them have gotten the viewers emotional by using the beauty and magic of music to lift their spirits up, a few such as Jennifer Lopez has garnered mixed reactions for her performance of Barbra Streisand's 'People'.

Prior to the performance, JLo briefly spoke about the importance of isolation to fight the global pandemic and the difficulties that come with it. Referring to the lyrics of the song she was performing, the singer emphasized on how we all need one another to cope with the ongoing health crisis.

On watching Lopez's rendition of 'People', one fan who loved her performance, wrote, "OMFG!! Jennifer Lopez sounded AMAZING singing Barbra Streisand's 'People'! I got goosebumps! The best live vocal from JLo ever! Astounding! What a testament to her incredible work ethic! She has practiced and practiced and improved her singing abilities over the years SO MUCH!"

Another fan added. “Thank you, Jennifer Lopez, for a beautiful performance to lift our spirits." However, a few have noted that none can ever recreate Barb's song to do justice to the original and also called Lopez out for "lip-syncing".

"People who need people sung by Jennifer Lopez. Barf. Her followers may like it but it is your version that creates emotion and meaning. The industry can try to recreate songs but they do not have the same effect as the originals. Barf," one lamented.

"Jennifer Lopez just shut up anyone who has ever said she can't sing," wrote another. And some fans who weren’t quite expecting such a performance by Lopez, especially for Streisand's song, were left rather puzzled.

"I don't mean this in a snarky or evil way, but I forget how well Jennifer Lopez can sing. Overall, she does the whole pop thing, but just now...the stripping down of just singing the song...My God...stunnin#OneWorldTogetherAtHome," said one fan.
