HUNTING A KILLER: Man who killed little Olivia Pratt-Korbel has $307,000 hit taken out on him
DOVECOT, LIVERPOOL: Gangsters have reportedly placed a £250,000 (~$307,265) bounty on Olivia Pratt-Korbel's murderer Thomas Cashman, 34. At present, there are growing fears that he will "grass" fellow gang members in an attempt to lighten his sentence. Cashman shot the little girl dead at their home in Dovecot, Liverpool, in August 2022. His target was drug dealer Joseph Nee, 36, who had run into the building where Pratt-Korbel lived.
Cashman, who has been linked to as many as three other unsolved murders, faces life imprisonment. Criminals in the north and around jails have received news of the bounty via encrypted app Telegram, The Sun reported. “The figure being spoken about is £250,000 to silence him — kill him," a source said, adding, "He knows everything there is to know about organised crime, drugs and violence in that area."

'He has nothing to lose'
“His knowledge and testimony could cause a world of pain for some very big criminals who do not want their activities being looked at. He has nothing to lose — he is cornered. There’s lifers who will be mixing with him in months and years to come who will not think twice about carrying it out," sources reportedly said.
Cashman will reportedly be willing to provide information on unsolved gangland executions and killings in the region, seeking extra checks on his welfare and a better cell, in return. He will also seek a better prison in the coming years. One of the three unsolved murders he may be linked to is that of 31-year-old Karl Bradley.
The murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel
Pratt-Korbel died at her Liverpool home on the night of August 22, 2022, after being shot by the gun-toting gangster. It was an ordinary day for Cheryl, 46, and her three children at their terraced house on Kingsheath Avenue, Liverpool. However, a gangland confrontation that had flared up just around 100 yards along the road near the corner of Finch Lane changed their lives forever. The fight led to the tragic death of the child.
A gunman in a black balaclava, a black padded jacket, black trousers, and black gloves attacked two men walking along Kingsheath Avenue from Finch Lane, the Daily Mail reported. Police obtained CCTV footage showing the men running for their lives as the gunman began shooting. Hearing all the noise, Cheryl opened the front door of their house to investigate the commotion.
Seeing the door open, one of the fleeing men, former heroin dealer Joseph Nee, hurled himself at it to seek refuge. Nee forced his way into their home and despite Cheryl's desperate attempt at slamming the door shut, the gunman managed to get a hand through the door. The little girl was standing directly behind her mother at the foot of the stairs. "A shot has been fired, which we believe has hit Cheryl, injuring her, and then fatally wounding Olivia," Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen said. Cashman was later charged with her killing during a press briefing from their Rose Hill headquarters on Cazneau Street.
