Ohio parents who were abused as kids by serial pedophile let him rape their own children for drugs and cash
WHEELERSBURG, OHIO: Parents who had been raped as children by a serial pedophile as children had brought their own children back to him years later so he could rape the children too.
Larry Dean Porter, 69, reportedly sexually abused many underage boys and girls and would lure their parents using drugs. The sex ring is believed to have included parents who had been 'previously abused by Porter', Metro reports. The parents grew up and 'took their own children to Porter in return for drugs and cash'. A US attorney David DeVilliers who is involved in the prosecution of the accused also said that the pervert had also allegedly filmed all the abuse.
"Mr Porter raped these young women. Mr Porter filmed himself raping these young women. And he was helped by other individuals… who provided children to Larry Porter to be raped, to be filmed," DeVilliers said.
There are nine people involved in the sex trafficking ring, involving children, ABC 6 News reports. The people charged include 32-year-old Denna Sue, 39-year-old Crystal D Porter, Frank Andrews, David Cole, Wayne Porter Sr, 69, Joshua Aldridge, 36, Ann Rawlins, 41, Ronnie L Rawlins, 47.
As reported by the Columbus Dispatch, Charity Ann Rawlins and her husband Ronnie Rawlins had taken a child to Porter for him to rape many times for five years. Porters' daughters Crystal and Denna were also charged with trying to cover up their father's crimes and also tried to hide away flash drives that had sex abuse images that were produced by their father.
The sex ring was only uncovered earlier this year after he was busted by a law enforcement sting that had an undercover cop posing as a fellow pedophile. He was caught when he showed up at a meeting where he thought he was meeting a minor girl after having allegedly agreeing to pay $80 to spend many hours abusing her.
FBI agent Chris Hoffman said, "The alleged criminal activity in these indictments are some of the most disgusting, perverse and repulsive acts that I have ever heard of in 32 years of law enforcement. There’s no more egregious case than what we’re standing before you today to discuss," he said.
Porter was charged with a 13-count indictment with conspiring to sex traffic children, 15 years to life in prison, attempting to sex traffic children, 15 years up to life in prison, producing child pornography, up to 10 years, conspiring to obstruct a child sex trafficking investigation, up to 25 years, and conspiring to witness tamper, up to 20 years.
According to Fox19, Jackson County Sheriff Tedd Frazier said, "I am very pleased with these indictments and very proud of my deputies and the part my deputies had in ending this child sex trafficking operation."
"Jackson County will not tolerate the actions of anyone who preys upon our children. We will hunt down those that abuse and take advantage of our children and our families. Children should not be placed in circumstances where they are in danger nor traded for drugs."
If you believe you may be a victim or have information related to this case, DeVillers says to call the FBI at 614-315-4923.
