Obamas' DC mansion is entirely visible from the street, a far cry from Trump's claim of a 'ten foot wall'
“There’s a fence that goes along the front of the house, but it’s the same as the other neighbors have,” a neighbor told the Washington Post. “It’s tastefully done.”
President Donald Trump referenced a 10-foot wall around the Obamas' home in Washington D.C. earlier this week in a bid to emphasize the need to build a wall at the U.S. southern border with Mexico. However, neighbors told People the barrier surrounding the property is not really a "wall."
“The house is not obscured in any way from the street,” a next-door neighbor told the outlet. According to the Washington Post, “the front steps [of the Obama house] are open to the sidewalk.”
