When will episode 3 of 'Yellowstone' air? Hit show's 'The Reek of Desperation' 4th of July episode postponed
The second episode titled 'New Beginnings' saw Rip and Kayce come to blows and fight it out but there is something good that has come out of this fight.
There is no way that Paramount Network could have upset fans further even if they tried really hard. Its flagship show 'Yellowstone' isn't going to return this Wednesday for its third episode 'The Reek of Desperation' and fans are not taking the news very well.
The network announced that it wouldn't be airing the third episode of the series on account of the July 4th holiday. And this has upset fans beyond measure. "That's totally a tease. 2 episodes in.. Gotta wait 2 weeks. That's just wrong wrong wrong.," one fan tweeted.
"You're just slowly killing me.. two weeks, such agony," another fan dramatized her suffering fitting 'Yellowstone'.
Well, Paramount's flagship show sure has some really loyal fans – while one bunch is upset over the wait, others are rejoicing the fact that they can go on a rewatch session.
Two episodes in the second season of 'Yellowstone' and we can already sense a storm coming to the Dutton ranch – one that John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner, will do everything in his might to fight.
The second episode titled 'New Beginnings' saw Rip (played by Cole Hauser) and Kayce (played by Luke Grimes) come to blows and fight it out. Kayce won the brawl and made a statement that has perhaps never been made on the Yellowstone ranch ever before: "There is no fighting on this ranch. You wanna fight, come fight me."
On the other hand, Beth (played by Kelly Reilly) starts buying up land to protect the ranch. She also shares a heart-to-heart with Rip as they talk about meeting each other for the first time as kids, how they remember it, looking back at all the way they have come and reminisce about life on the Yellowstone ranch with John.
The third episode titled 'The Reek of Desperation' shows John and Kayce discussing business as usual and after the little ego boost he got in the duel last week, Kayce takes up more responsibility at the ranch.
"This office is how you can protect the ranch, we're about to find out how big of a role you're playing in this family son," John tells Kayce.
A long-awaited confrontation is on the table for Kayce and his wife Monica Dutton (played by Kelsey Asbille). But, for Monica things may have gotten ahead of her – does her physical therapist have something to do with it?
After the last episode, we will finally get to see Wes Bentley's Jamie Dutton run for office. And there is a new enemy lurking around the corner.
The third episode of 'Yellowstone' will return on July 10, 2019, at 10 pm PT/ET.
