NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News star Megyn Kelly lashed out at Barack Obama for having nothing to say about Hamas' attack on Israel and its victims.

She was surprised to note that the ex-POTUS had shared a post praising the Nobel Peace Prize Winner from Iran, Narges Mohammadi, on the day when the conflict began.

The 52-year-old journalist brought Obama’s apparent ignorance to her viewer's attention on her podcast 'The Megyn Kelly Show' and called him out for not making a statement about the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Megyn Kelly thrashes Barack Obama for his silence on Israel-Hamas war

Megyn Kelly dedicated an entire episode of 'The Megyn Kelly Show' to discuss the ramifications of the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel.

During the podcast, she brought up the subject of former Presidents reacting and making statements about the Israel-Hamas conflict.

She told her guest Victor Davis Hanson, the author of 'The Dying Citizen', that so far, Donald Trump and George W Bush have made a statement condemning the attacks while Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have not come to the fore.

Kelly said, "Nothing. Nothing from Barack Obama," and informed her viewers that Obama’s last post on X (formerly Twitter) was instead about the Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner, Narges Mohammadi.

She read out the ex-POTUS' post, which said, "For decades, Narges Mohammadi has been a vocal advocate for women and girls in Iran. This @NobelPrize is a well-deserved recognition of her courage, and the hope that she represents—not only for the women in Iran but for women fighting repression and violence around the world."

The former Fox News host then lashed out at Obama, questioning his silence on Israel attacks as she stated, "How about the women who were the victims of repression and violence in Israel? No words for them former President Obama?"

She continued, "Nothing to say about the children being murdered in Israel. So far I guess he couldn’t find time to actually use his little thumbs and tweet something out."

Barack Obama finally breaks his silence on Israel-Hamas war

Even though a tad late, Barack Obama did react to the ongoing attack by taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, October 9.

He stated, "All Americans should be horrified and outraged by the brazen terrorist attacks on Israel and the slaughter of innocent civilians. We grieve for those who died, pray for the safe return of those who’ve been held hostage, and stand squarely alongside our ally, Israel, as it dismantles Hamas."

"As we support Israel’s right to defend itself against terror, we must keep striving for a just and lasting peace for Israelis and Palestinians alike," added the former President.
