Pre-game buzz

As far as the seasons, the Mets are yet to register a series win against the Phillies. In their previous two encounters, they lost one and tied the other. The team will be looking at Pete Alonso as he heads into the game with 11 homers. Rick Porcello has had an average outing with a 6.07 ERA but will be looking to turn things around when he starts for the side on Tuesday.

The Phillies, on the other hand, are coming off a series loss to the Marlins. JT Realmuto has been their star batter as he leads with 11 home runs and 30 RBI. Jake Arrieta will be the starting pitcher for the Phillies.

Who will win?

The Mets are touted to win the series and make some amends. But they will be wary of the Phillies offense. Despite the past record, we'll be gunning for a Mets win.
