Twitter had the best response to the huge Bran Stark moment in 'Game of Thrones' season 8 finale

Bran Stark is not the Night King nor will he be turning into a White Walker soon but he sure is getting ready for a new and highly unlikely role in Westeros.

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 8 EPISODE 6

In a pretty shocking and arguably a very lukewarm end to the mammoth series that was 'Game of Thrones', Brandon Stark ended up sitting on the throne and being the protector of the realm. The boy, who lost his mobility after being thrown off a tower by Jaime Lannister, even appeared to know that he would be the King even before the council decided it would be so.

This isn't entirely surprising since Bran can see into the future but what truly was a shock was the fact that he actually sat on the throne, in spite of no experience in politics, leadership or even the battlefield. Westeros totally promised to go into democracy after his reign would end but twitter isn't having any of it.

"So Bran gets to be king, despite the fact that he just put his name on the group project and didn’t do any work," one fan wrote pointing out that Bran Stark had indeed played no major part in the process of the battle or even defeating the Night King. "Now we know why the Night King was really coming after Bran, to avoid this bullshit," another fan wrote. "I’m no longer Bran, I’m the Three Eyed Raven. Unless you want me to be King and then I can totes be Bran again," a third fan wrote throwing shade at the time that Bran refused to identify as a Stark in the earlier half of the season.

If you think about it, Bran may not have received the crown by happenstance. If he could see the future, which he clearly can, he knew about Rhaegal's death, about Missandei's beheading and the fact that Sansa would not stay quiet when she found out about Jon's actual parents. He knew that Dany would lose her mind after all of this and burn the city to a crisp. Fans allege that he let it all happen just so he can take the throne. It's like he had all the cheats and even though he could have saved all the destruction he didn't knowing full well that men would fight his battles so that he could sit on the throne when it is all over.
