NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News has garnered attention and raised eyebrows by featuring Dog the Bounty Hunter as a guest on their highly-rated primetime program hosted by Jesse Watters.

Dog the Bounty Hunter wants US Marines to hunt for Maine shooter
During the segment, host Watters commented that the Maine shooter was far from an ordinary individual and appeared to possess certain skills that enabled him to be responsible for the deaths of 18 people.
"To me, I think this guy knows about logistics, transportation. He's a smart cookie," he said.
Dog the Bounty Hunter shared Watters' viewpoint, adding, "Yes, how to make bombs. When I first saw the picture before I read anything, I saw how he was holding the rifle and I told my son, 'Woah, this guy is a professional killer. A trained killer.'"
He went on to recommend that US troops should be enlisted to help in the search for this fugitive killer and proposed a substantial number as the assistance he believed would be needed.
"So, you know what the Marines' favorite story is. Kill 'em all and let God decide. I get 300 Marines and I take this guy out," he stated.
Watters went on to laugh at this idea and said, "Well, I think Susan Collins the Senator might have to make a phone call to the White House to rally the troops because we're going to need a lot of help with this guy."
Netizens call Fox News 'a joke' for having Dog the Bounty Hunter as guest
Internet users did not perceive this as humorous as Watters did and criticized Dog the Bounty Hunter for his amateurish suggestion.
A user commented, "The Marines have jobs; they don't need to take over domestic law enforcement."
Another one pointed out, "Does he not know Marines can't walk the streets to apprehend criminals? They have no arrest powers? Does he not know many police officers are retired military?"

Some internet users raised doubts about the network, with one individual commenting on X by saying, "Fox News is such a joke LOL."
Certain individuals wondered why Watters' X account posted the clip of this segment. They expressed their disbelief with a comment that read, "Dude. Did your social media team actually just post that? Your guest’s insights about how to catch a gunman start off with 'getting 300 marines' and you think you’re a serious host? Bwahahaha!"
