LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The latest action-animation film on Netflix, 'Ultraman: Rising,' has fans buzzing with excitement as it marks the return of the beloved superhero Ultraman.

The film follows Ken Sato (Christopher Sean), an arrogant baseball player who also happens to be the revered superhero Ultraman. His life takes a dramatic turn when he unexpectedly discovers a newborn kaiju and names her Emi.

As the movie progresses, our hero becomes emotionally attached to Emi while attempting to protect her from the evil gaze of Dr Onda (Keone Young) and the Kaiju Defence Force (KDF). 

Fans shower love on 'Ultraman: Rising'

As soon as the film premiered on the streaming platform, fans flocked to X to share their thoughts on the action flick, with many praising its visuals, animation, and the unique twist of caring for the enemy kaiju.

One fan wrote, "Ultraman rising is so peak I'm in awe man. from the visuals, animation, and story is just literally peak gonna rewatch it." 

Another added, "Ultraman Rising, I love it. It's an extremely heart-warming movie that puts a twist not only on the Ultraman IP, but it also puts a twist into the whole Kaiju Genre. I've never seen a hero raising a 20 foot tall kaiju whilst also dealing with a lot of emotion done so well. 10/10."

"GOD I LOVE ULTRAMAN RISING!! PEAK ANIMATION FR FR," wrote another excited fan.

One fan said, "Just watched Ultraman Rising. While it's not really what I personally want from my Ultraman, I quite enjoyed it for what it was trying to do. I won't be saying no to a sequel anyway, and if this inspires more people to check out the main toku Ultra shows, it can only be good."

One fan demanded a sequel, saying, "Did I start my morning off by watching Ultraman Rising? Yes. Did I love it. Absolutely, definitely a Top favorite animated movie of the year. Do I hope they do a sequel? PLEASE YES!"

Fans also praised the movie's brilliance and encouraged others to watch the action flick.

On X, one fan said, "I watched Ultraman: Rising today on Netflix and it was so good! I highly recommend watching this." 

Another added, "Do a favor to yourself go watch Ultraman rising NOW !!! IS JUST PEAK." 

Labeling the movie as wholesome, another fan said, "Just came back from watching Ultraman Rising & I gotta say like it was unexpectedly really good and also damn, this may just be the most wholesome Ultra media I've seen so far yet & I'm hoping to get more of stuff like this in the future fr GRAHHHH!!!"
