LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has just dropped an exciting heist movie titled 'Lift' that features Kevin Hart in the lead with Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ursula Corbero, and Billy Magnussen as supporting cast.

The film revolves around Interpol joining hands with a group of thieves, to abort a possible national threat. To make it a success, they have to steal $500 million in gold from a vault on a plane, 40,000 feet in the air.

What happens during the heist?

On the day of the mission, Luke decides to abandon the crew at the last minute, stating that he couldn't risk his life and refrain from boarding the flight. Meanwhile, Camila pilots the private jet borrowed from a tech billionaire.

Dealing with the challenges, Abby and Cyrus Whitaker, along with the crew execute the plan as decided while Harry supports them by managing operations at Air Traffic Control.

In a strategic move, the crew switches the radar signs, prompting Harry to instruct the pilot to make an emergency landing at a small airstrip in the Alps.

However, the sudden landing raises suspicions among Lars Jorgensen’s men on the plane. They pull out the guns and threaten the crew to redirect the plane to Zurich. Abby and Cyrus take over the situation by getting into action while buying some time for Magnus, who is cracking the safe containing the gold.

After a lot of action in the high altitude, Jorgensen’s men capture Magnus and Camila after a rough landing in the Alps, disrupting Cyrus' carefully laid plan.

The armed men inform Jorgenson that they are in control of the situation. He tells his men to bring the gold and the thieves to him.

Does Cyrus get caught?

While Jorgensen’s men move the gold through the private jet with Abby, Cyrus, and Camila being held as captives, Abby's Interpol colleague, Huxley involves NATO and orders them to shoot down the plane in order to prevent the deal between Jorgensen and Leviathan.

After multiple failed attempts to establish contact with the private jet, NATO jets prepare to shoot it down on Huxley's order. However, Harry informs that there are civilians on board. Despite knowing the crew's presence on the plane, Huxley stands by his decision.

Meanwhile, Abby manages to give an indirect signal to NATO pilots mentioning that they are held hostage.

Camila, Abby, and Cyrus get rid of Jorgenson's men after an intense fight but Camila ends up breaking her wrist, which means she can't fly the plane and they could crash. However, she instructs Abby and Cyrus who barely manage to land it, but unfortunately, on Jorgensen’s estate.

Jorgensen finds out that one of them is an Interpol agent. Meanwhile, he shoots down Leviathan's representative who called off the deal after witnessing the mess. Cyrus lies that he is an Interpol agent to save Abby.

Meanwhile, Mi-sun records everything on Jorgensen’s estate through the cameras installed on the plane.

Just before Jorgensen could kill Cyrus, the police arrive. The former says that he was defending his property but Mi-sun plays out the recording of him killing the Leviathan representative on the jet’s screen.

Jorgensen gets arrested and Abby comes to know that Huxley didn't care about her life. She punches him in the face and quits her job.

She then joins Cyrus and his crew. The movie concludes with Cyrus confessing his love to Abby. He goes on to reveal that they had stolen the gold.

Luke, who appeared to have abandoned the mission was carrying out the other part of it. After breaking the safe, Magnus swapped the real gold crate with fake gold bricks. He pushed the crate full of real gold out of the plane, and Luke worked on its safe landing.

Interpol finds out that the gold with them is fake while Abby, Cyrus, and his crew celebrate their success with $500 million in gold by their side.

'Lift' is streaming on Netflix.
