'Floor is Lava': Fans can't get enough of the 'cheesy' Netflix show, demand Season 2
Remember how as a child we all loved playing the game "floor is lava", where we imagined that the entire floor was covered in lava and hopped across the furniture across the house, all while trying not to fall on the floor. Well, Netflix has decided to make a game show based on everybody's favorite childhood game, and they hit the bull's eye with 'Floor is Lava'.
The show which released on June 19, was an instant hit amongst fans. During the pandemic, as we stay quarantined in our houses, what better way to spend Friday evenings than watching a bunch of people play our favorite childhood game on our screens. The Netflix's version is a tad bit more complicated than what we played as children. The show is set in a house filled with lava, and the players work as a team, as they try to navigate their way through the house without falling into the lava. Although the concept is fairly simple, it is extremely gripping, as we watch the players strategize their game plan. At the end of it all a prize of $10,000 awaits them!
Fans took to their Twitter to express their love for the show. A fan tweeted, "Just started watching this new Netflix series called “Floor is Lava”. It’s cheesy but so much fun. #floorislava." Many fans expressed how the show reminded them of their childhood, A fan shared, "As we live in the ninth circle of hell, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel (and I don't think the light is a train). The show is certainly a smashing hit, as fans have already begun demanding for Season 2.
