'Raising Dion' Season 2: 5 things you didn't know about Ja'Siah Young

Fans of 'Raising Dion,' rejoice! Netflix is dropping a brand new season of the beloved child superhero drama next month. The streaming giant recently dropped the trailer of the second season of the show which revolves around a Black child who starts to manifest supernatural abilities, and it already looks like it's going to be a hoot!

Season 2 of 'Raising Dion' will follow Dion's journey as he hones his powers with the support of his mother Nicole, a single parent whose challenges get amplified once she discovers that her child has superhero-like abilities. Assisting Dion and Nicole (played by Alisha Wainwright) is Tevin, Dion's Biona trainer who also seems to have caught Nicole's eye. You could also take a look at 'Jupiter's Legacy,' 'The Umbrella Academy' and 'Black Lightning' if you're looking for other superhero shows on Netflix.

Ja'Siah Young as Dion Warren

Ja'Siah Young is an actor from Pennsylvania, US. The 10-year-old also models for a living and has quite a fan following on social media. Young made his TV debut when he was four years old, appearing in 'Billy on the Street'. He then appeared in feature films like 'Rough Night' and 'Nicole and OJ'. The 'Raising Dion' star's net worth is rumored to be anywhere between $10K and $30K.

Rome Flynn as Tevin Wakefield

Rome Flynn is an actor who hails from Chicago and is of Afro-Cuban heritage. The 30-year-old also works as a model and is a gifted musician. Flynn was also a talented basketball player and attended Benedictine University on a scholarship. It was during his time as a college student that he managed to put himself on the radar of casting directors. He did so by building up his social media following. This landed him a role in 'Drumline: A New Beat'. He has appeared in many TV shows since then including 'NCIS: New Orleans' and 'How to Get Away with Murder'.
