Evan Peters has cracked how to play sociopathic serial killers "phenomenally," according to fans. The actor recently starred in the new Netflix series, 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' which is about Jeffrey Dahmer who was a serial killer and sex offender who committed the murder and dismemberment of seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991. He also had an alias name and was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster.

Remember the 'Hannibal' series where Hannibal Lecter used to feed his guests human flesh to get away with it? Similarly in a scene of 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,' (which is sort of a documentary) we see Dahmer hand his neighbor a sandwich supposedly filled with human flesh. Apparently, it is a moment that there may be some truth in, but perhaps not quite as it appeared in the show.

According to ladbible, one of the changes to real events is the character of Glenda Cleveland, played by Niecy Nash, who not only lives next to Dahmer in the program but is also the one handed the disgusting snack. Haunting isn't it?

In a 2013 documentary 'The Jeffrey Dahmer Files', Bass spoke about her worst fear after being given a sarnie by the man she described as appearing to be friendly and sharing. Interestingly, Bass was the one in real life who claimed Dahmer made sandwiches for others in the building, meaning there may be some element of truth in the storyline, and that the poor naive people of the building had to taste human meat.

However, it is said many of his later murders involved necrophilia, cannibalism, and the permanent preservation of body parts, typically all or part of the skeleton. Although he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, and psychotic disorder, Dahmer was found to be legally sane at his trial.

According to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, viewers see in the series, as Dahmer having numerous locks, but it's unclear as to whether this was actually true, due to Tracy Edwards' account changing later on.

The article says, "Edwards is shown on the show fiddling with the locks and trying to escape, which actually became a point of contention in real life." "Edwards' story changed throughout the aftermath of Dahmer's arrest, including appearances on talk shows in which he talked about the numerous locks on the door, while photos of the scene showed only two." "The other evidence police find in the apartment during the episode, from the painted skulls to the heads in the refrigerator, were real details from the scene."

Regardless, 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story', has raging reviews from Netflix fans while some call it "disturbing" and others applaud it for the phenomenal performance of Evan Peters, either way, the audience seems to not be able to stop themselves from talking about it!

'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' released on September 21, 2022, is now available to be streamed on Netflix.
