The upcoming Mexican movie sees Don Servando (Hector Bonilla), who is widely regarded as the Grumpy Grandpa, has returned home after his adventures in the movie ‘The Patriarch’ (2016). He and his new family make a plan for a Christmas vacation. There, he meets a woman, who is demanding and ultimately becomes his nemesis. What happens next is a fun ride that makes your Christmas worth more than you expected it to be.

Hector Bonilla as Don Servando
The 82-year-old actor is one of the legendary names working in the Mexican entertainment industry and has done numerous projects in a career spanning over more than five decades. He made his acting debut with the TV series titled ‘La Casa De Las Fieras’ in 1967. On the other hand, his feature film debut came in 1974 with ‘Meridiano 100’, for which he received the Ariel Award for Best Actor, Mexico’s highest award for an actor.
Throughout his career, he has featured on more than 100 projects. But the impact he has created on the industry is much more than that. He received a nomination for the Best Actor accolade at the Ariel Awards for every movie that he did between 1974 and 1996, winning on two occasions.
Angelica Maria as Dona Alicia
Another legend of the Mexican entertainment industry who started her career as a child actress and went on to become an icon. Born in September 1944, Angelica Maria began her acting career at the tender age of four and had a lot of supporting roles in the initial part of her career. She has a magical voice as well and in 1962, she decided to come out with her debut album titled ‘Angelica Maria’. The album turned out to be a hit and she came out with 8 volumes of that album.
She has received several awards throughout her career and has more than 150 projects to her name.
Renata Notni as Juan Pablo
Born on January 2, 1995, Renata started working at the age of 12 and had her first acting assignment in 2007. The actress was cast in one of the main roles in the Mexican series ‘Codigo Postal’. Since then, she has always been someone who has been an important role in every project that she has appeared on.
Notni has featured on several acclaimed projects like ‘Curse by the Sea’, ‘The Power of Destiny’, ‘Amorcito Corazon’, and ‘Love from the Hood’.
Benny Ibarra as Fran
Born on September 8, 1970, Benny Ibarra is known for his roles in ‘City of the Blind’, ‘On the Air’ and ‘Amor Xtremo’. However, he gained wider recognition with his role of Fran in the 2016 movie ‘The Patriarch’. Ibarra will be reprising his role of Fran in ‘Grumpy Christmas’.
Jacqueline Bracamontes as Alma
Bracamontes is born and raised in Mexico and started her professional acting career in 2000. Since then, she has been a part of several hit TV shows and movies like ‘Rubi’, ‘Heridas de Amor’, ‘Unexpected Things’ and ‘Sortilegio’. Recently, she was seen playing the role of Mariana Torres on ‘Loli’s Luck’.
