Season 2 of 'Dating Around' is as interesting and fun as we had anticipated from the much-awaited Netflix reality dating show. Everybody gets nervous and awkward before their first date, the anxiety and awkwardness only get worse if its a blind date. While all the singles featured on the show were extremely interesting and fun to watch, one particular single caught fans' attention. Episode 2 of 'Dating Around' featured New Orleans University professor, Ben Samuel.

Ben is described as "pure soul" and "too good for this world" by his friends and colleagues, and after watching the episode, fans too seemed to agree with them. Ben was a perfect gentleman in all his dates. He asked his dates plenty of questions, not the awkward intrusive types, but just engaging conversation starters. He listened to all their responses carefully, hyped them all up and seemed genuinely interested in all of his dates.

Aside from his gentleman-like behavior, fans really loved how awkward and kind he seemed. Several fans took to their social media to express their appreciation of Ben and how wholesome he seemed. A fan tweeted, " Oh Ben. He so cute. Lol #datingaround." Another fan wrote, "Dating around s2 ep2 - eeeeeeekkkkk - I’m cringing so hard and I just want the best for this sweet awkward man! #DatingAround@ThisIsBenSamuel."

Despite his awkwardness, he managed to woo his date Alex. They both had an instant connection after discovering their mutual interest in theatre and music. In fact, Alex even suggested that they both audition together for a role in an upcoming play. So, it came as no surprise when in the end, Ben picked her to go on a second date with. Fans were beyond excited to see Ben happy and hoped the best for him. A fan shared, "I wish Ben the best, I love him and his awkwardness #DatingAround." Another fan shared, "Ben was someone soooo kind and genuinely earnest that it literally hurt to watch..... I hope he is happy forever #DatingAround." "The professor guy on s2 of #DatingAround is incredible. I was smiling the whole time. I hope he’s happy with a partner who appreciates his unique energy," commented a fan.

'Dating Around' Season 2 premiered on Friday, June 12 on Netflix.
