Spoilers for Netflix's 'Coffee & Kareem'

Netflix's raunchy buddy comedy follows police officer James Coffee (Ed Helms) and his girlfriend Vanessa Manning's (Taraji P Henson) 12-year-old son Kareem (Terrence Little Gardenhigh) as they race against time to prove their innocence and save lives. The life-threatening shenanigans are garnished with plenty of expletives that bring former enemies Coffee and Kareem together.

The teenager is plotting Coffee and his mother's break-up. Attempting to scare him away, his idea is to hire criminal fugitives to take Coffee out. Terrence Little Gardenhigh is an energetic performer fitting perfectly in the character of Kareem, being the highlight of the movie is its most dire state. "The movie 'Coffee & Kareem' on Netflix is funny asfff," tweeted a fan. "'Coffee & Kareem' hella funny on Netflix," added another.

"Man everybody should watch Coffee & Kareem on #Netflix that shit had me dying!" concurred another. "Recommend y’all to watch “Coffee &’ Kareem” on Netflix!" said a fan.

As Coffee and Kareem expose a secret network of criminal activity involving dirty cops from his police department, the two embark on an expletive-ridden, unusual journey to save what is precious to them. Not without breaking some bones. "Naw this Coffee & Kareem on Netflix is HILARIOUS." The movie has impressed its audience so much so that it is already being compared to Will Smith and Martin Lawrence's 'Bad Boys For Life'.

'Coffee & Kareem' has its ups and downs — mainly a redundant plot and its blatant incorporation of homophobia —but it doesn't seem to have harmed how it was received by viewers. At the same time, the movie rarely does justice to the acting prowess that Henson brings to the table. Yet she is merely cast aside as the movie places its focus on the Coffee and Kareem. The movie's audience, however, doesn't care about Henson's wasted talent.

"Coffee & Kareem was a lot to swallow in the beginning but you get use to the campiness and just go with it. Taraji played the coldest character. Lol," wrote one user.

The movie may have scored high among its viewers but special brownie points go to Gardenhigh. "Dawg when im cryin warching Coffee & Kareem! This little boy omg" tweeted a fan. "This Coffee & Kareem movie on Netflix is pure comedy. I'm in tears," agreed another.

'Coffee & Kareem' is currently streaming on Netflix.
