When will 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 Episode 9 air? Carter's mommy issues, Sebastian's romance in focus
The aftermath of the adrenaline spiking 'Leda and the Swan' is finally here in the form of the episode's part 2 on 'NCIS: New Orleans'. Season 7's Episode 8 will pick up from where we left the team off more than a couple of weeks ago because NCIS: NOLA has been on hiatus, with all the other sister shows of the franchise. Luckily for fans and viewers, the franchise is sticking to its schedule and dropping the random hiatus for at least a few weeks straight and to answer the most important question, NCIS: NOLA is airing next in just a short week's time.
Episode 9 of Season 7, titled 'Into Thin Air' will air next Sunday, February 21, but not at its usual 9 pm time slot. Kicking it back by an hour, NCIS: NOLA will now air for the rest of its season on Sundays at 10 pm ET/PT, only on CBS. The official synopsis for the upcoming Episode 9 reveals "Pride and the team are on the hunt for a kidnapped 14-year-old and discover that her father, who will soon have custody of her, is a radical survivalist living off the grid."

'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7: Why is Episode 8 not airing this week?
This follows Episode 8 aka 'Leda and the Swan Part II' where "Pride and the team continue the investigation of an Officer's assault and the murder of her therapist," details the official synopsis. The team also "zeroes in on a prime suspect who's been working the system for years. Also, Carter and his mother talk about how they'll move forward after a past mistake, and Sebastian begins a promising new relationship."
We saw the initiation of the hatchet being buried between Agent Quentin Carter (Charles Michael Davis) and his mother in the previous episode after he came clean about taking the blame for his brother to help him keep a stain-free record. Now that Carter's mother knows he wasn't always the condemned black sheep she made him out to be, it will be touching to see how that plot progresses and what personal developments it brings about in his arc.
The same goes for eternal third wheel Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich), who's finally found someone to keep him away from his other, albeit very close, but taken friends. Sebastian went overboard with helping a single mother, who was one of the many to bear the brunt of job loss during the pandemic. The woman ended up living in her car, and CPS took her very young child away. Sebastian singlehandedly arranged a place for her to work (Pride's bar) and got her housing facilities (rented out by Loretta Wade) and eventually the authorities returned her daughter to her. Could there be anything more touching as a foundation stone for a relationship? We think not.
'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 will now air on Sundays at 10 pm only on CBS.
