'The Voice': Tamara Jade voted off, upset fans say 'even Whitney Houston or Aretha Franklin can't win the show'

Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over Tamara Jade getting eliminated from the show despite her spectacular performance

Fans were far from pleased with the results of the top five contestants on Season 19 of 'The Voice'. After wowing both coaches and the audience with their impeccable performances during the semi-finals round, the top nine contestants were ready to be culled down to the top five, based on the audience votes. One contestant from each coach's team would be moving forward to the top five and get a chance to perform during the finals. 

Carter Rubin from Tean Gwen made it to top five while Desz was chosen from Team Kelly. John Holiday will be representing Team Legend and from Blake's Team, Jim Ranger secured the majority of votes. For the final top five spots, the contestants had to battle it out for instant save vote from the audience. Fans were already disappointed when they realized that Tamara Jade didn't get maximum votes from Team Legend, but they were hopeful about the contestant getting her redemption during the instant save round.

Despite her stunning performance in the instant save round, the sassy singer failed to secure the majority of votes. Ian Flannigan from Team Blake earned the final spot among the top five. When fans realized that their favorite singer wouldn't be competing in the finale, they were left upset. Several fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the results. 

A fan tweeted, "Tamara was ROBBED! Bruh this show be blowin mindsssss #TheVoice." Another fan wrote, "I'm so distraught right now ,like how can you guys vote tamara jade off.....at this point all hope is gone ,not even whitney Houston or Aretha franklin can win this show #TheVoice #tamarajade #notfair." Another said, "@johnlegend #VoiceResults Tamara Jade should’ve been saved!! What was America thinking? Sign her talented self!!!"

Another disappointed fan shared, ".@johnlegend #VoiceResults Not fair Total initial votes should have been top artist’s across all teams Tamara should have definitely been in Finals and probably had more total votes than some other finalists." Another said, ".@johnlegend #VoiceResults how could Tamara not be in finale!?! That is so wrong." One more fan said, ".@johnlegend #VoiceResults Really? No Tamara? I sure hope you help her going forward. She’s funny, she can sing & she deserves a little help!" 

'The Voice' Season 19 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c only on NBC.
