'Ellen's Game of Games' Season 4: A look at the best moments and fails from the past seasons of the game show

One such iconic moment was a round of 'Taste Buds' where a friend tried describing a rugby ball as something 'tall, hot guys play with'. It left both Ellen and her audience in splits.

It's only been a week since 'Ellen's Game of Games' Season 4 has returned to NBC. The show promises a cash prize to its contestants and unending to fun to its viewers with the countless fails falls. On the surface, it may seem like just another game show that helps you bank dollar bills but it's really all about multi-tasking. Those participating will have to answer trick questions while suspended mid-air, blindfolded and at times, tied to one another. The showrunners have also added props that adds to the fun element. For instance, in Season 1, for one of the rounds, the contestants played a game of 'say what?' wherein they were made to wear massive ears on top of the originals.

Season 1

The 'say what?' round was one of the popular ones from the show's maiden season. The participants were invited to 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and asked to share their experience. It started with: "Twitch was bouncing his biscuits at the nude beach" and ended with: "The mouse is in the spring kitchen."

Season 2

The sudden drop questions took the cake in this season. When Ellen asked one of the contestants what FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) meant? The participant said it was a shorter way of saying "four more" and explained her logic with an example: "Give me fo mo seconds." It was incorrect and hence, she had to be eliminated, which meant Ellen pressed a button, which opened up the floor underneath resulting in the contestant experiencing a free fall.

While it was not the best moment for the contestant as she missed out on the grand prize, fans thought it was one of the most hilarious moments of the season. "The contestants always try to reason with Ellen before they go down," a fan commented under the YouTube video embedded above, while another wrote: "Gimmie fomo seconds."

Season 3

Last year was filled with fails. One such iconic moment was a round of 'Taste Buds' where a friend tried describing a rugby ball as something "tall, hot guys play with." It left both Ellen and her audience in splits.

More such fun moments coming up in this week's episode of 'Ellen's Game of Games' that airs on NBC on Monday, starting 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.
