Nathan Millard: Video shows Georgia dad-of-5 found dead in Louisiana with mystery man before disappearance
BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: A Georgia father-of-five who vanished last month during a 24-hour business trip before his body was found rolled up in a carpet was allegedly spotted with a mysterious man in the hours leading to his disappearance. Nathan Millard, 42, was found dead on the 2900 block of Scenic Highway, roughly three miles from the Marriot hotel he was staying at, on Monday, March 6 at about 3.34 am.
In a new video, Millard appeared to be walking along Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge around midnight of February 22 after being booted from Happy’s Irish Pub for having too much of a drink, reported WBRZ. The unidentified man accompanying Millard, appeared to be intoxicated as he kept falling over and over, according to the source. Even though Baton Rouge police said they do not suspect foul play, Millard's body was found rolled up in a carpet that was covered in plastic in an empty lot.

Timeline of Nathan Millard's disappearance
The new video adds to the timeline of Millard's disappearance, a businessman who was visiting Baton Rouge to stake out a prospective gig for his Conyers-based construction company. The 42-year-old had gone to a Louisiana State University basketball game on the ill-fated day of his disappearance and later visited the Irish pub with a client, before being cut off for being too intoxicated around 11.30 pm.
After which, Millard was captured on video walking with an unidentified man walking along Florida Boulevard, where his hotel is located. The unknown man kept falling as he appeared to be tipsy but Millard looked stable. Furthermore, the father of five reportedly walked past his hotel to the nearby Greyhound bus station around 12.30 am, where a security guard offered to call him a ride or call the police, but Millard refused, according to Baton Rouge Captain Kevin Heinz.

“He didn’t appear to be in distress. She just felt as though he was out of place,” Heinz said of the guard. “He declined that offer and he left there under his own accord,” New York Post reported. Police noted the other security camera captured Millard roaming around the neighborhood throughout the night. The businessman was last seen alive in his hotel around 4.30 am and another video shows him along with a man wearing a white hat and a blue shirt and jeans.
The same morning, Millard's client contacted the police and requested a welfare check on him at 9 am, when he failed to show up to their meeting and did not answer their messages. Millard's family revealed the investigators said the 42-year-old cause of death was likely due to an overdose, reported WAFB.
