Nash Wells becomes the Pariah as scene from 'Batwoman' kicks off the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'

As soon as it was announced that Tom Cavanaugh would be playing the Pariah on ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths,’ everyone’s eyes were peeled for whatever new Harrison Wells would be appearing on ‘The Flash.’ When Nash Wells showed up, hunting down the Monitor from across the Multiverse, fans knew that it was only a matter of time before Nash unleashed something he shouldn’t, and be reborn as the Pariah. This week, on ‘Batwoman,’ Nash Wells did just that.
In the clip, Nash Wells confronts the door he’s discovered on ‘The Flash’, one he’s tracked the Monitor to. He speaks to a voice behind the door, claiming he’d been tracking whoever was behind the door across the Multiverse to kill him. The person behind the door, however, has saved Nash’s life instead and asks Nash to submit to him, and begin a new life, tempting Nash with knowledge.
When Nash presses a few symbols on the door, unlocking it, he is consumed by a bright light. Doubtless, the next time we see him he shall be wearing his costume as the Pariah. Watch the Crisis teaser below:
In the comics, the Pariah was a scientist from another Earth, who attempted to unlock the secrets of creation. Doing so, however, got the attention of the Anti-Monitor, who began releasing waves of Anti-Matter that threatened to destroy the Multiverse. The Monitor cursed the scientist, renaming him Pariah, to go from world to world and watch the death of the millions he was the cause of.
It is unknown what Nash Wells released, but given that the Crisis begins next week, it’s probably safe to say that it’s not good. Of course, it can’t be a wave of anti-matter itself, as that would have destroyed Central City, and all of Earth-1 with it.
The ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ begins December 8 with ‘Supergirl’, on The CW.
