WASHINGTON, DC: In a twist that has ignited a fierce online debate, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville has asserted that he received calls over Thanksgiving from "Admirals and Generals" expressing gratitude.

He said, “Nothing has changed” in his military blockade adding, “I’ve talked to admirals and generals, I’ve had people call me – I have had people call me over the holidays and say keep doing what you’re doing, we’re not having any problem.”

The Senator, known for his unwavering alignment with former president Donald Trump, has refused to disclose the names of these military figures, leaving the internet clamoring for transparency.

Tommy Tuberville stalls military nominations sparking bipartisan concerns and Pentagon warnings

Tuberville has taken an unprecedented approach to influence Pentagon abortion policy, leveraging his power to hold up numerous military nominations and promotions.

This move, normally a bipartisan Senate duty, has raised eyebrows and sparked concerns about potential repercussions on military readiness.

The Pentagon estimates that Tuberville's blanket hold has already stalled over 260 nominations, with projections indicating the number could skyrocket to 650 by year-end.

Despite facing opposition from Democrats who have attempted to expedite the nominations, Tuberville remains resolute, rejecting each attempt to lift the holds. The Senator insists that he won't release the holds until there is a vote on the Pentagon policy.

However, critics highlight Tuberville's lack of concrete legislative action or introduced bills to address the issue, leaving the situation in a legislative limbo.

Adding to the intrigue, Tuberville has proposed an unconventional strategy, suggesting that Democrats introduce their own bill on the policy and call for a vote.

The ongoing standoff raises questions about the effectiveness of such a strategy and whether it will lead to a resolution on this contentious issue.

Netizens mock Tommy Tuberville's enigmatic claims

The internet, meanwhile, is demanding clarity on Tuberville's claims of support from high-ranking military officials.

A user stated, "Tuberville seems to make a lot of claims . . . that can't be proven!" Another added, "NOBODY likes our WOKE military."

A third tweeted, "Tuberville is a traitorous liar. He's making sure these top military positions remain vacant for Trvmp to fill if he gets back in. Pay attention."

"Didn't want to throw anyone under the bus?? Are we talking about a Clay Higgins Ghost bus??" mocked a user.

"NO ONE CALLED HIM TO SAY "KEEP IT UP." NO ONE," stated a user. “Declined to name them!” “Them” don’t exist," read a tweet.

"I’ll take “things that never happened” for $500, please," said a user.
