In the newest episode of 'My Feet Are Killing Me,' Season 4, Dr Sarah Haller treats a terrible case of fungus and malformed toenails. As a truck driver, Charles seeks expert assistance to find a permanent solution to his dilemma.

'My Feet Are Killing Me' returns for season 4 with some very alarming medical conditions. Dr Sarah Haller, Dr Ebonie Vincent, and Dr Brad Schaeffer deal with a massive mass, a foot that "looks like a big volcano, bubbling up and ready to erupt," and explore "uncharted territory" of podiatry throughout the season. This season, Dr Sarah has already treated patients with fungal infections and ingrown toenails. In the most recent episode, she is now approached by truck driver Charles, who is looking for a long-term solution to his problem.

Dr Sarah is approached by Charles to discover a cure for his toenail troubles. Charles has developed a bad case of foot fungus as a result of his profession requiring him to wear covered shoes for long periods and a lack of care at home. He and his partner go to Dr Sarah to get rid of the damaged toenail that is giving him so much pain. Dr Sarah is taken aback by the state of his foot at first glance.

With little hope of recovery, Dr Sarah chooses to remove the entire damaged toenail in the hopes that a new and fresh nail will grow in its place. Dr Sarah uses her tools to cut through the damaged toenail, much like a lobster shell. She attempted to remove the entire nail in one piece. Charles was right there with Dr Sarah when she tried to take the toenail off. He was face to face with the doctor, who wanted to be a part of the surgery. Charles seemed ecstatic about having his damaged toenail removed.

Dr Sarah removes the real base of the nail to ensure that she has eliminated all the edges, leaving nothing behind. Charles was overjoyed when the entire thick nail was removed. Dr Sarah informs Charles that a new toenail would take at least eight months to grow in its place. Meanwhile, she puts him on an oral medication that passes via the liver and treats both the skin and the nails. Dr Sarah advises Charles next to wash, dry, and bandage it correctly now that the nail is gone. She adds that he must be careful with his meds. If he is serious about getting rid of this, he must be at the top of his game. Dr Sarah feels that if he takes good care of his foot and is consistent with his oral medicine, he may never have to struggle with itchy feet in bed again.
