'My Big Fat Fabulous Life': Whitney takes part in her first weightlifting contest but fear takes over her
Whitney Thore is all set to take on a new adventure but fear is slowly starting to set in. Whitney first thought about getting into weightlifting when she was motivated by her trainer, Jessica Powell. Jessica thought that it would be a good idea for Whitney to practice for weightlifting along with her so the two could take part in a competition together.
Whitney was motivated to push her body and see what her limits could be and for this, she started working out regularly. Even though there were times when she felt the pressure, she knew that she could not give up. However, the biggest surprise came to Whitney when Jessica told her that they would be taking part in a competition in a few weeks.
Without wasting much time, the two got into their workout mode to make sure they are all prepped up for the day of the competition. Even though Whitney was up for going through an intense workout she was worried that during the day of the competition all the weight would fall on Jessica.
She did not want Jessica to be in a position where she would be putting on more effort for them to win. But Jessica assured that is fine to feel tired and ask for help. But on the day of the competition, Whitney was all set to give her all until she saw a room full of people who looked more than ready for the competition.
She confessed that she thought it was a friendly competition but looking at how many people showed up she understood it was a city-wide competition. Despite this, Whitney knew that there is no backing down now and she decided to give it her all. Once the competition started, Whitney was stressed about hurting her back once again but luckily, she was able to succeed without any injuries.
Whitney and Jessica worked together to make sure that they put their best foot forward for each round. However, they are yet to find out how well they did overall.
