Chase Severino and Whitney Way Thore decided to take the next big step in their relationship as he invited her to meet his family. While things went well, Chase is still worried about where Whitney and her friendship with Buddy Bell stand. Buddy and Whitney have been good friends for a long time but he was not happy to hear that they had kissed in the past.

While he tried to get past these thoughts, he was left confused when he saw the relationship Whitney and Buddy share at the moment. Buddy decided to call Whitney and make amends for all the mistakes he had done in their relationship.

Buddy decided to do so in a bid to feel better about himself and not turn towards drinking as a way of escape. He thought that Whitney has always been there for her but she was the one person he had not made amends with. While Whitney did not think there was any need for an apology, Buddy thought otherwise.

Buddy knew that he was distant from Whitney because he was not happy that she decided to move her life without any notice. He did not appreciate how he was left alone when he did not expect something like that to happen. Buddy knew that if he needed to sort things out, he had to apologize and make amends.

He decided to give Whitney a call and tell her that he would be spending some time with his friend, David. He further revealed that he wanted to sit down with Whitney and give her an apology. While the two expressed their emotions, Chase was not pleased to see how their relationship was turning out to be.

He decided to interrupt the conversation and it was clear that he was not impressed with how things were going. Speaking to the camera, Chase explained that Whitney and Buddy's relationship was turning into co-dependency, which he did not appreciate.

Looking at how Chase was reacting, Whitney felt that she had to choose between her best friend and the love of her life and it was a decision she was not looking forward to.

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on TLC.
