LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The entire entertainment industry was shocked when they got to know about the tragic death of renowned DJ Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss on Tuesday, December 20. The news of his death sent shockwaves across the nation and fans flooded social media with heart-wrenching tributes. Twitch was one of the best DJs working in the industry and had a lot of projects line-up that he was excited for that could have made 2023 the biggest year of his life in terms of his musical career.

On Tuesday, December 20, sources closer to LAPD noted that the DJ’s wife Allison Holker Boss went to the police and revealed that her husband has gone out of the house without taking his car, which was an unusual occurrence. A few moments later the paramedics got a call from an LA hotel and were called in for a medical emergency. As soon as the paramedics reached the hospital, they saw Twitch lying on the floor with a wound over his head. The DJ was pronounced dead by the paramedics and it was revealed that the musician died because of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The death came as a shock to his loved ones, but it also devastated all his collaborators as well.

According to a source, 2023 was turning out to be a busy year for the musician because he had so many new projects lined up that he was excited about. The source also noted that Twitch and his wife had so “many shows, brand deals, and projects” under their bellies that could have made them even bigger stars, per People Magazine.

“He was so excited about all of the projects he had coming up and was very involved day to day,” People cited the source, as saying.

Unfortunately, the musician couldn’t see any of his projects getting completed as he died by suicide on Tuesday.

Twitch’s wife Allison announced the news of her husband’s death to the world and noted that Stephen used to light up every room he stepped into and valued all the people who were close to him. In a statement shared with People Magazine, she said, “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and the light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

She concluded her statement by saying, “Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Boss is survived by his wife Allison as well as children Zaia, 3, Maddox, 6, and Weslie, 14.
