Actress, comedian and producer, the weird and wonderful Aubrey Plaza made her 'Muppets Now' debut in a special one-on-one interview with none other than the Muppets' own 'Lifesty' leader, Miss Piggy (Eric Jacobson). However, if Scooter (David Rudman) can't keep himself awake long enough to upload the episode, we might never get to see the interview at all. Fortunately, Scooter has a little help from the loudest Muppet of them all, Animal (Eric Jacobson).

"It's time to light the lights" takes on an all new meaning as Scooter's own lights start to fade out. The overworked technician has been burning that midnight oil and with a tight deadline in place to upload the Muppets' fourth episode, he employs the Muppets' resident drummer to keep him awake. He might get more than he bargained for because when you ask Animal to make some noise, there's no holding that beast's beat back.

As for the segments themselves, Miss Piggy hosts another 'Lifesty' segment with recurring guest stars Linda Cardellini and Taye Diggs and the Swedish Chef (Bill Barretta) goes up against Giuseppe Losavio to see who can make the best spaghetti carbonara. In the meanwhile, Dr Bunsen Honeydew (Dave Goelz) and Beaker (David Rudman) attempt to help a lonely old computer out with a series of experiments to bring it into the modern age.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: "Scooter wakes up in horror to discover his all-nighters have finally gotten the best of him, and he has only 30 minutes to upload Muppets Now. With the clock ticking and his eyelids drooping, Scooter enlists Animal to help him stay awake. Dr Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker, conduct a series of vibrational experiments with the help of a lonely, outdated computer. The Swedish Chef uncovers the secrets of Spaghetti Carbonara when staring down his competitor, Giuseppe Losavio. Miss Piggy sits down with Aubrey Plaza to conduct a fabulous one-on-one interview. Later, she looks out for number one as she focuses on self-care with guests Linda Cardellini and Taye Diggs."

This episode of 'Muppets Now' airs on August 21 on Disney+.
