'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation': Deena Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick are friends again, fans glad they moved on

When fans saw the girls rekindling their friendship, they were beyond happy and said that it was rather mature of them to have a conversation about their issues

There was a time when Deena Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick were best friends. The duo was inseparable and had each others' back all the time. However, their friendship unfortunately, took a hit following the infamous wedding speech that the girls including Deena made at Angelina's wedding. The bride was angry and upset at how disrespectful her friends were being towards her on such an important day of her life. It became a big issue on social media, as people began calling out Deena, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi for their questionable behavior.

Angelina quietly supported the people on the internet who were busy bashing the girls for ruining her big day. This ended up hurting the girls a lot and their friendship took a hit. hit. Snooki even quit the show, while Deena reportedly went into depression. So, when the boys took it upon themselves to repair the friendship between the girls and restore the family, they had a huge task cut out for them.

They tricked Deena and Angelina into coming on a vacation to Vegas. After the girls arrived at Vegas, the boys tried to arrange for a meeting between them to hash out their differences, but unfortunately, their plan fell flat when Deena revealed that she was pregnant and didn't want any negative or toxic energy around her. However, thanks to Pauly D's girlfriend, Nikki Hall, Angelina and Deena sat at the same dinner table and managed to get through the dinner without coming at each other's throats. Later, when Vinny accidentally joked about the wedding speech, both Deena and Angelina laughed it off. Seeing Angelina's reaction, Deena felt that she was ready to work on mending their friendship, and invited her co-star for breakfast.

They sat down at the table and talked about the wedding night and explained their side of the story and why they reacted the way they did. Both Angelina and Deena poured their hearts out and realized that they were exhausted by the cold war, and decided to leave that behind and be friends again. When fans saw the girls rekindling their friendship, they were beyond happy. Several fans took to their Twitter to express their joy.

A fan tweeted, "I’m glad Angelina and Deena have FINALLY made up! #JSFamilyVacation." Another fan wrote, "I love how mature Deena is being during this conversation... actually both Deena and Angelina! This conversation is going a lot better than I thought it would! My two favorite girls out of the girls honestly. #JSFamilyVacation."

Another fan commented, "Yeah! Angelina and Deena sitting down is great I liked their friendship. Angelina honestly should have dropped the wedding speech and moved forward. That would have been the bigger thing to do but I’m glad that maybe with the sit down they can put it behind #JSFamilyVacation."
