NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow’s book, 'PREQUEL: An American Fight Against Fascism,' recently hit the stands, and Maddow has been on book tours all over the country for the same.

#1 New York Times bestselling author and news anchor Maddow recently took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce that she will have to reschedule the rest of her book tours this week.

On October 25, Maddow felt a “little strain” in her voice and tested negative for Covid, however, the following day, the MSNBC anchor “woke up and tested positive.”

While her fans have sent her several “get well soon” messages, not everyone is on the same page.

Rachel Maddow reschedules book tour dates

Rachel Maddow's book tour for 'PREQUEL: An American Fight Against Fascism' was set to continue at the Boulder Bookstore in Boulder Theater, Colorado, according to MSNBC.

However, these plans have now been postponed, as have her book tour events at Magic City Books in Cox Business Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and The Odyssey Bookshop at the Academy of Music in Northampton, Massachusetts.

According to the website, Maddow will be resuming her book tour on November 12, in New York City.

On X, Maddow wrote, “Raincheck, please! I am very very very very sorry to have to reschedule this week’s remaining book your events for PREQUEL -> Boulder tonight, Tulsa tomorrow/Friday, and Northampton Sunday.”

She continued, “started feeling a little strain in my voice, tested negative for COVID yesterday, but then woke up and tested positive yesterday.”

“I’m so sorry – all these events have been fantastic so far. Will reschedule!” concluded Maddow on X.

Internet says ‘cop out’ as Rachel Maddow reschedules

On X, after MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow shared her positive COVID test results, the internet wasn’t impressed. One user wrote, “Cop out,” and another mocked, “Better get that 13th booster!”

“This goes out to the 3 people that were looking forward to hearing her lies. Sorry guys!” wrote one user, and another said, “Aren’t you like 7 times vaccinated bro? Covid shouldn’t be able to get anywhere near you.”

Maddow continued to face ridicule on the social media platform as one user said, “Oh no, all 7 people who watch you and the 3 people who bought your book will be so disappointed!” and another asked, “How's that reformulated for the current strain "vaccine" shot working for ya?”
