NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: While the region of Israel and Gaza is seeing consistent violence in the form of a full-blown war, the media is reflecting a discourse over taking sides and questioning the morality of people.

The same can be seen in the conflicting views of the media rivals highly Republican and the progressive MSNBC. A recent instance of this is anchor Mehdi Hasan calling out Jesse Watters on his views about the war.

Jesse Watters has given up on the Palestinians

On multiple occasions, Watters has made it clear that he does not believe in the Palestinians getting spared for the crimes committed by Hamas.

While on 'The Five', he went on to say, "I don't think we can have a Palestinian state at this point. I've had it with the Palestinians. I've given up on the Palestinians."

Watters also said that he could not stand with those who have separated the militant group from the innocent civilians in Gaza.

"And I don't like how people try to differentiate between the Palestinians and Hamas. To me, I see people with guns -- that's Hamas. The people without the guns are the Palestinians. They believe the same thing. The Palestinians hire Hamas to run their government. You poll them, they all love killing Jews."

On his primetime show, which airs soon after 'The Five', Watters made similar statements.

"How do you say Hamas doesn't represent the Palestinian people when they voted Hamas in to represent them? Why do you think the Saudis and the Egyptians aren't opening their doors to the Palestinians? These are savages and Israel cannot co-exist with them."

Mehdi Hasan shames Jesse Watters for views on Palestine

Hasan, who has been consistently vocal on the war in the Middle East, criticized Watters through a post on his X account.

"A reminder that Jesse Watters went on this racist, anti-Palestinian rant today, the same day a Palestinian family near Chicago buried their 6-year-old son Wadea, after his landlord allegedly stabbed him & said: ‘You Palestinians don’t deserve to live.’"

He closed off his post by saying, "Beyond sickening/shameful."
