NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Prime Video series 'Mr and Mrs Smith' is witnessing a progression in the relationship of the Smiths. With each episode, they are stepping up on the ladder of love while carrying out life-threatening espionage missions.
After three missions, including a failed one, John Smith (Donald Glover) and Jane Smith (Maya Erskine) get a day off and they end up meeting another Smith couple.
What happens on the double date of the Smiths?
The Smiths' double date with another couple from the Smith clan kicks off positively, delving into discussions about their missions, the inherent risks in their line of work, and the unique intimacy that blossoms from sharing a life together.
Following a pleasant evening of wine and dinner, the other Smith couple persuades John and Jane to join them on an impromptu mission.
To the surprise of John and Jane, their companions unexpectedly back out, leaving the duo to navigate a mission for which they were completely unprepared, all in the pursuit of coming out unscathed.
Trouble brings the Smiths closer
The life-risking mission turns out to be fruitful for John and Jane. Not only do they earn a whopping amount for it, but they also end up confessing their love for each other.
While at the mission in the jungle, the duo admits to loving each other thinking this would be the last chance in case they die.
However, after they make it out alive, they recollect the moment of rush and chaos and again say the three magical words to each other while in bed.
In the upcoming episodes, we expect Jane and John to deal with the challenges that come with a relationship.
