'Mountain Men': Jason tries to build a trap for wild hogs but will his injured hand come in the way?

Jason Hawk is known for his building skills and when it comes to making a trap, he is the one everyone can count on. However, an injured hand may not be the way to start a new project. In the latest episode (July 23), Jason decided to help his friend Ron who had been struggling with wild hogs on his property.
Ron complained about many wild hogs who came to his hayfield and ruined it. Wild hogs were dangerous as they eat anything and everything that is placed in front of them. To make things worse, when they move in, it is hard to move them out of the property. Jason knew he had to build a trap that would be strong enough to keep them out.
Without wasting much time, Jason gets to the task immediately and looks for things that would be strong enough for the trap. One thing that he makes sure is that the trap is big enough to have multiple hogs trapped. Knowing that they tend to travel in a pack, Jason knew it was important for him to trap as many wild hogs as he could.
Despite having an injured hand, Jason decided to play to his strengths and used his right hand more to make sure the pressure is not on the left hand. Once he thought he had everything in place, he was shocked to find that one of the bars was not strong enough and had broken.
Jason knew it would not be good enough for the hogs because they could easily break the trap. Fortunately for him, he found an old rusted bar that was strong enough to rework on the trap and make it fit for the wild hogs. Once the construction was complete, Jason attacked a string inside the trap that would automatically shut the door. He also put a bucket with food to make sure that the hogs enter the trap. The second one of them touches the bucket, the door automatically closes and traps them inside. Once he had everything in place, Jason decided to leave the trap overnight with the hope that it will trap a hog.
When he and Ron came back the next day, they spotted two wild hogs trapped inside. Jason was happy that the trap worked and he could help his friend. 'Mountain Men' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on History.
